Greetings,  

It’s an honor to serve as the 40th President of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist, PMBR.   

In 1947 twelve (12) real estate professionals of color came together to address the National inequities in homeownership and to develop a strategy to become Realtors. At that time, they were denied, and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) was formed and the “REALTIST” was conceived.  

I’m delighted and humbled to continue the tradition of strengthening African American Homeownership and Generational Wealth, two major objectives of this dynamic organization.  

Our moto is “Democracy in Housing” which is still being realized.  We have much work to do to see this to fruition. I believe the path forward is to work together as real estate professionals to ensure fair housing practices, improve affordable housing and renew economic development in communities of color.  

I’m excited about the possibilities of growing the number of real estate professionals, salespersons, and brokers. I’m equally excited about increasing the number of African American homeowners throughout the region. I can’t continue their legacy alone. I need your support, please join the REALTIST.
